Windows onlySetting up Defaults
You can use netadmin to set up the following defaults:
Default database
The database to which smanager connects if none is specified. See the
description of the
reality command.
Path to realman directory
The directory containing the Reality software on the Windows system.
Default release of Reality
The default version of Reality.
netadmin option 8 - Defaults
allows you to set a
number of default Reality parameters. Selecting this option displays the menu:

Default Database
To set up the default database, select option 1 from the Defaults menu. The names of the existing databases are displayed. Enter one of the following:

The number of the entry for database you want as the default.

d
to select the current default database. -
n
for no default. If there is no default database, you must specify the database name when logging on (see the description of the reality host command).
If there are more than 20 entries, press return to display the next list.
The value you enter is saved and you are returned to the menu, which now displays the new default.
realman Directory
To set up the path to the realman directory, select option 2 from the Defaults menu. The following prompt is displayed.
Enter the absolute path to the realman directory [Path/(CurrentDefault)/q)

Enter the required path or press RETURN to retain the current value. netadmin verifies that the path entered exists and saves it. You are then returned to the menu, which now displays the new path.
Default Version of Reality
To set up the path to the default version of Reality, select option 3 from
the Defaults menu. A list of installed Reality versions is displayed. Enter the
number of the Reality version to be used with this database or
q
to return to the menu.
The menu now displays the new default.
