Setting up RealWeb Users and Accounts
When you set up a RealWeb connection using the RealWeb configuration utility, you must specify a user-id and account. These must be set up as described below:
RealWeb User
- Use SSM Define User Profiles to allow operation in server mode (set option 14 to S or *).
- Use SSM Define User Profiles to specify an appropriate security profile when logged in via the RealWeb server (RWSRVR). A default security profile called DEFAULT.REALWEB is provided for this purpose, or you can create your own alternate profile. See Setting up Security for External Access for more details.
RealWeb Account
- Any account that will contain RealWeb subroutines must be enabled for
RealWeb. Log on to the SYSMAN account and enter
SETUP-ACCOUNT
. Select the accounts to be enabled for RealWeb and select the Realweb feature. This CATALOGs the necessary RealWeb subroutines and creates a REALWEB.SECURITY file in each account. - Enable each subroutine that will be called from the browser by creating an item with the same name in the account's REALWEB.SECURITY file. The item should have a single attribute containing the letter V.
