CHARGE-TO

Assigns computer usage to a project for the duration of a logon session, providing the means to record how much time users are spending on a project.

Syntax

CHARGE-TO {project} {(options}

Syntax Element

project is the name of the project. If it is not specified, the system reverts to tracking usage by user-id.

project can be any user-generated identity which is appended to the user-id to identify, for system usage reporting purposes, the current project on which the user is working. Refer to Reporting System Usage for more details.

Options

P Sends output to the system printer.

Comments

When you enter CHARGE-TO the software starts monitoring computer usage under the new project identifier and displays a report of usage statistics accumulated for the previous project, similar to the following:
