Adding a ROUTE-FILE Entry

To add a ROUTE-FILE entry, select addentry  from the routefile  menu. You will see the following menu.

1. Destination
2. Listening
3. Q type
4. Reality
5. SovereignX
6. Alternative Host
7. Local Host
8. HeartBeat
Entry type [q] :

When you add a ROUTE-FILE entry, the prompts displayed vary according to the type of entry being added. Each type of entry (Destination, Listening, Q-type, Reality, SovereignX, Alternative Host, Local Host and Heartbeat) is therefore documented separately.

Note: In most cases, the acceptable responses to a prompt are shown in square brackets. Where the option has a default value, this is shown in parentheses (round brackets); the default can be accepted by pressing RETURN. You should accept the default values unless advised otherwise by your Northgate Public Services representative.
