SET-PRIV

Sets the system privilege level on the current port, overriding the privilege level set for the user.

Syntax

SET-PRIV m

Syntax Elements

m is the privilege level (0, 1, or 2).

Comments

The privilege level remains in effect until you log off or log to another account. The USER command shows the privilege level currently in effect.

Restriction

SYSMAN and SYSPROG accounts only. SYS2 privilege level required.

Error Message

If you do not specify the privilege level or specify an invalid parameter, the following message is displayed:

[536]  Illegal system privilege parameter, 0 - 2 only !

Example

Sets the privilege level to 0 on the current port.
