Action Code 18 Change Job File

Changes the specified job file for the current display of the Print Jobs screen.

Job file name - is the identity of the specified job file to change to.

Restrictions

You cannot change the job file when SP-JOBS with the U option is being executed. Instead, the following message is displayed.

When using the (U) option, all job files are being used.

Comments

The job file name that you enter becomes the specified job file, but only for the duration of the current SP-JOBS execution. All actions executed during the current SP-JOBS session use this file unless you override it with a job file-name and the F option in the response.

When you exit the current SP-JOBS session, the specified job file reverts to whatever it was when you entered SP-JOBS.
