General Spooler Procedures

The following TCL commands, which cannot be executed from the SP-STATUS or SP-JOBS screens, are described in this section:

BUILD.DESPOOLERS: Creates despoolers and form queues for ports and tapes.
BUILD.PRINTERS: Creates despoolers and form queues for host printers.
DESPOOLER.DETAIL: Lists information about despoolers on a database.
DSPMON: Manages despoolers.
PORT-DESPOOL: Despools print jobs to a port.
RESET.DESPOOLER: Resets the despooler system.
SP-ASSIGN: Sets up assignments for a report number.
SP-CLOSE:Closes an open report.
SP-COPY: Copies a job from one job file to another.
SP-DESC: Sets and displays a description in a print job control item.
SP-EJECT: Creates a print job comprising form-feeds.
SP-FIX: Cleans up print jobs left in an inconsistent state.after a program crashes.
SP-FORMQUEUE: Lists all print jobs in a formqueue.
SP-LOOK: Displays the current default Spooler assignment.
SP-TAPEOUT: Reads print jobs from tape and re-queues them in a formqueue.
