ENCRYPT-SET

Selects or deselects data encryption as the default for CREATE-FILE.

Syntax

ENCRYPT-SET {key-id}

Syntax Elements

key-id Optional. The item-id of a key in the REK file in the SYSFILES account. If omitted, encryption is deselected.

Comments

By default, CREATE-FILE does not create encrypted files.

ENCRYPT-SET affects only the current Reality process and persists only until logoff, or until ENCRYPT-SET is called a second time (with or without a key-id).
