Changes the form length and number of lines per inch on Data Products printers.

Syntax

DATAPRODUCTS {(options}

Option

C Sets up the VFU channels on a Data Products printer in Centronics mode.

Prompts

On entering DATAPRODUCTS at TCL, the following message prompt is displayed:

THIS PROGRAM WILL SET THE VFU CHANNELS ON THE DATAPRODUCTS BP 1500

ENTER FORM LENGTH IN INCHES?

Enter the number of inches required for the length of the form.

IS THIS 6 OR 8 LINES PER INCH?

Enter 6 or 8, as required.

CHANNEL 1 USED AS TOP OF FORM

INPUT CHANNEL NUMBER, <CR> WHEN FINISHED?

If you wish to selected a channel other than channel 1, enter the channel number required.

To leave the specified channel unchanged, press RETURN only.

Restrictions

The page length must be less than 143 lines. Hence form-length times number-of-lines must be less than 143.

The maximum length of a form at six lines per inch is twenty three inches. The maximum length of a form at eight lines per inch is seventeen inches. If you enter a form length greater than these an error message is displayed and you must re-enter.

The TCL prompt is displayed again.
