Listing Active Transactions (Resilience - Transaction Logging) (m646709+activetransactions.htm)
This procedure allows you to list the transactions currently open on the database.
Note: You can only run this procedure when Transaction Logging is active. If necessary, use Configuration and Setup option 2 to start logging.
Select option 2 on the Miscellaneous menu. A message is displayed describing the purpose of the procedure and prompting you to confirm that you wish to continue.
Enter y at the confirmation prompt. If there are any
open transactions a report is displayed similar to the following:
***Active transactions at 09:30:09 on 31 JUL 1999. Page 1 of 1.*** PORT USER ID...LOCATION.................. TRANSACTION START *24 SYSMAN Room 5 16:46 02 APR 19 110 TYPING Room 12 17:56 02 APR 19
This report is refreshed every 10 seconds. The following report fields are listed:
PORT The port from which
the transaction was started.
USER ID The identity of
the user that started the transaction.
LOCATION The location
from which the transaction was started.
TRANSACTION START
The time and date that the transaction was started.
