V - View (Screen Editor) (m618603+v.htm)
Displays attribute marks.
V
Each time you press V, the display of attribute marks (end of line) is turned on or off.
When the view is on, the Status/Command Line displays:
View ON
The View command is useful for viewing trailing blanks at the end of a line prior to the attribute mark.
Line prior to View On:
A LINE OF TEXT
Press V. The View is turned on and the line now displays:
A LINE OF TEXT ^
You can now see that there are trailing blanks after the text and before the attribute mark.
