Space

Moves the cursor one character to the right.

Action

The cursor forward command moves the cursor one character to the right. If the cursor is at the end-of-line (attribute mark), the cursor forward command moves the cursor to the first character of the following line.

The SPACEBAR is non destructive and does not overwrite text when in Edit Mode.

On some terminals, the forward arrow (→) key is collocated with the numeral 6 on the numeric keypad. On some terminals the → key is on a separate cursor control keypad. In either case, pressing either the → key or the numeral 6 produces the same result.
