RWA_CHECKBOX


Purpose

Defines a checkbox on a form. Output is appended to a string.

Syntax

RWA_CHECKBOX(vString, Name, Value, Checked, TabIndex, aClass)

Parameters

vString A variable containing the string to which the checkbox declaration will be appended. On return, the variable contains the modified string. If the string does not exist, it is created.

Name Name of the checkbox.

Value Value that is passed to the server when the form is submitted with this box checked. The user can check any number of checkboxes on a form. If checkboxes share the same name, the values for all of the selected boxes are submitted as a single string, separated by value marks.  If each checkbox is identified by its own name, the values for each checked box are passed as separate parameters.

Checked A BooleanClosed A data type that can take only the values TRUE and FALSE. In RealWeb TRUE is defined as any non-zero integer, and FALSE as 0 or a null string. Any other values generate a run time error.  operator that determines the initial state of the checkbox (checked or unchecked).

TabIndex Specifies the tab index for the checkbox on the HTML page.

aClass A dynamic arrayClosed A multi-element string variable in which data is divided into elements by attribute marks, value marks and subvalue marks, matching the structure of a Reality file item. CLASS

The name of a tag class defined in a CSSClosed Cascading Style Sheet - a mechanism by which the presentation of an HTML page can be separated from the content. A style sheet can be used to determine the appearance of one or more HTML pages.  stylesheet.

Attributes defined in the aClass parameter are applied to the INPUT tag.
