LIST4

Lists the item-ids of all items in a specified file in four-column format.

Syntax

LIST4 file-specifier{selection-criteria}{attribute-name}{(options}

Syntax Elements

file-specifier is the file containing the items to be listed.

selection-criteria any selection criteria as defined in the English Reference. These limit the items for processing.

attribute-name is the name of the attribute to be output. See Comment below.

Options

I Item-id. Suppresses Item-ids.

N Nopage. Suppresses automatic paging.

P Printer. Sends output to the printer. Can be used instead of the LPTR modifier.

LIST4 allows you to specify English selection criteria, normally used with the LIST command, to select items. Note, however, that if you specify an attribute for output, you must also specify the I option (or ID-SUPP) to suppress the display of item-ids.
