STOFF

Selects the primary output buffer as the active output buffer.

Syntax

STOFF
ST OFF

Operation

The STOFF command turns the stack off. With the stack off, all data moved to an output buffer with a subsequent H command is placed in the primary output buffer.

The stack can be turned on or off at any point within a Proc.

On initial entry or after execution of a P or RO command, both output buffers are empty, and the stack is off.
