RW_EDIT_BOX


Purpose

Creates a text input field for a form, with the specified name and size. Outputs directly to RealWeb's RWC.OUTBUF buffer.

Syntax

RW_EDIT_BOX(Name, Size, aClass)

Parameters

Name A name, unique within the form, for the text field.

Size The size, in characters, of the text field.

aClass A dynamic arrayClosed that can contain the following elements:

Element No. Attribute Description
1 CLASS The name of a tag class defined in a CSSClosed stylesheet.
2 MAXLEN The maximum capacity, in characters, of the edit box.
3 VALUE Specifies the initial contents of the edit box.
4 SIZE Specifies the visible width, in characters, of the edit box.
5   A BooleanClosed operator that, if 'true', sets the input as MASKED, that is, password mode.

Attributes defined in the aClass parameter are applied to the INPUT tag.
