T-REW

Rewinds a tape to its load point (BOT).

Command Class

TCL-I command.

Syntax

T-REW {channel}

Syntax Elements

channel Optional. The channel to which the required tape units have been attached using the ASSIGN command. If omitted, the tape units attached to the default channel are used.

Comments

Before using T-REW, you must attach the required tape units to the port.

If used to rewind a tape image, the next write will erase the previous contents.

Example

:T-REW B

The tape unit assigned to channel B is rewound.
