Action Code 10 Stop Despooler and STOP-DESPOOLER

Stops a Despooler process.

STOP-PRINTER is a synonym for STOP-DESPOOLER.

despooler-name (Enter despooler name)
is the name of the formqueue for which you want to stop despooling.

Comments

This command kills the despooling of the current print job. Subsequent print jobs can still be despooled by another Despooler, if assigned.

Example

To stop the despooler 'PTRlaser', enter:

SP-STATUS

Then select Action Code 10 at the Form Queue Status screen prompt:

Enter Action Code / Page Number (P#)?10

Enter the Despooler name in response to the prompt:

Enter despooler name - PTRlaser

Alternatively you can enter:

STOP-DESPOOLER PTRlaser
