SSM Option 1 - Define Network Profiles

This option allows you to define and update a network profile for a PLId or partial PLId.

On selecting Option 1 on the SSM screen, the following screen is displayed.

NETWORK File Maintenance Options

Notes:

  1. To display a help message, enter a ? at the information prompt. To leave a field unchanged press RETURN. To null a field enter a backslash (\).
  2. Options 2 and 6. Setting Option 2 Logon Timeout to zero with Immediate Disconnect set to N causes the circuit to be maintained indefinitely. These options (2 and 6) are only effective when logon is achieved via the database logon prompt (initially set to 'Logon please:'). If this prompt is not displayed at logon, it is also not displayed on logging off and disconnection from the database is immediate.
