UNIX onlyinstallkeys

Installs a Reality serial number and software keys.

Syntax

installkeys {-o} keyfile

Parameters

-o Overwrite any existing serial number.

keyfile The path to the file containing the serial number and keys.

Availability/Restrictions

Can be used by the super-user only.

Comments

If the key file contains a serial number:

If the system does not have a serial number the serial number key will be installed.
If the system has the evaluation serial number, the new serial number will replace the current serial number.
If the system has any other serial number, the new serial number will replace the current serial number only if the -o switch is specified.

Feature keys that do not correspond to the installed serial number key are rejected.
