Enters, saves, and/or runs a command.

When you press * (asterisk), the Prestore Record command is run. The Status/Command Line displays:
Record ON
All subsequent keystrokes are recorded until you press * again. The Status/Command Line then prompts:
Save Prestore as:
To save the recorded command, enter an item-id. The recorded command is
written to the current file suffixed with
The Status/Command Line prompts:
Run Prestore now?:N
If you press Y, the following action is the same as if you entered a Prestore Run command. Otherwise, you are returned to Edit Mode.
The Status/Command Line prompts:
Loop on item list?:N
If you press Y, the command is run on each item if an item list is present. Otherwise, it runs against the current item.
To run a prestored command later, press CTRL+P (see Prestore Run for details).
