This topic describes how to install the Standard Network Interface on your PC.
The PCSNI installation procedure creates a directory for PCSNI and then copies the software into it. To install PCSNI, do the following:
Select Run from the Start menu and enter the following command:
drive:\PCSNI\SETUP
where drive is the letter of the drive containing the RealLink for Windows CD. When a welcome message appears, click OK.
If you are replacing PCSNI version 2.1 or later, you will be asked if you want to overwrite your WINSNI.INI configuration file. You should normally answer No to this question.
Click OK to continue the installation.
When the PCSNI setup completes, click Start | Run again and enter the following command:
"drive:\WinSNI Configuration Editor\SETUP"
When the WinSNI Configuration Editor setup completes, remove the RealLink for Windows CD from the drive.
