T-UNLOAD

Rewinds and unloads the tape unit belonging to the specified (or default) channel and sets it off-line.

TCL-I command.

Syntax

T-UNLOAD {channel}

Syntax Elements

channel Optional. The channel to which the required tape units have been attached using the ASSIGN command. If omitted, the tape units attached to the default channel are used.

Comments

Before using T-UNLOAD, you must attach the required tape units to the port.

Example

T-UNLOAD

The tape unit in use on the default channel is unloaded.
