Performs multiple T-FWD commands to skip over one or more tape files.

SPACE numberOfFiles

Syntax Elements

numberOfFiles is the number of T-FWDs to be performed. The default is 1.

Prompt

If you do not specify numberOfFiles, you are prompted:

NUMBER OF FILES TO T-FWD =

Restrictions

Executes on the default channel only.

Comments

Before using SPACE, you must attach the required tape units to the port using the default channel.
