This section of the User’s Reference provides the information required to perform routine operating procedures within Reality. It is organised into a number of parts describing the procedures for using the major operational facilities of Reality. Procedures covered include:

Overview of Spooler Operation describes elements involved in the operation of the Reality Spooler, including: print reports, print jobs, formqueues, hold files, output devices, remote spooling, network printing, printer interface scripts for private printers and printer control features including: printer independence, printer command strings and epilogues and prologues.
General Spooler Procedures describes a number of TCL Spooler commands that cannot be executed from the SP-STATUS or SP-JOBS screens.
SP-STATUS and Related Procedures describes how to display and maintain the status of the Spooler's formqueues using SP-STATUS and associated commands.
SP-JOBS and Related Procedures describes how to display and maintain the status of print jobs using SP-JOBS and associated commands.
Spooling System Maintenance describes the SPM utility which is used to configure and maintain formqueues and despoolers and provides the capability to create and change printer command strings.
