quit Command

The quit command terminates any current connection and exits the sft program.

Note: The EOF character (normally set to CTRL+D) has the same effect as the quit command.

Example

sft> quit
$

Remarks

If a put or get attempt has totally failed (not if individual items fail to be transferred) during the current sft session, the following message will be displayed when quitting:

[n Transfer attempt(s) terminated]
