Use Alternative Failsafe Link

This procedure changes your FailSafe link from the preferred route to the fallback or vice versa – see Defining/Redefining a FailSafe Database for details of how to configure preferred and fallback routes.

Notes:

This procedure must be carried out on the primary.
This procedure is only available if you have configured preferred and fallback routes.

Procedure

Select option 7 on the Miscellaneous menu.

You are prompted:

This options downs the current failsafe link, and reconfigures
to use the alternative failsafe link

About to toggle from currentPrimaryRoute to otherPrimaryRoute on primary
and toggle from currentSeconaryRoute to otherSecondaryRoute on secondary

Are you sure you wish to continue with this operation (y/n/q) ? :

Enter y to continue.

Then press return to return to the Miscellaneous menu.
